The Alta ll Home

(Level 4I) is located at 1337 Alta Vista Dr, Vista, CA 92084.  Six clients reside at this home, their developmental levels range from mild to moderate. 

 

The home is nestled amongst the mature foliage of the countryside hills of Vista and overlooks a beautiful wooded valley. The neighborhood is safe, peaceful and friendly.  Alta II home was built by the owner of Hearts of Gold Care Homes and it was specifically designed to accommodate the developmentally and physically disabled.

 

Expressing a delightful Country French feel, this home is all on one floor and has over 3500 sq ft of living area.  French doors open to a broad deck stretching across the back of the home. A huge gazebo is located in the front of the home and is used like a covered patio for outdoor activities.   There are six private bedrooms and 3 bathrooms included in this home.  Wide hallways, sloped entrances and exits and a handicapped wheelchair “roll in” shower provide ease of movement for the non-ambulatory clients.

 

Alta II is the training center for Hearts of Gold Care Homes.  Here the staff orientation, large staff meetings and general training take place throughout the month.  It is equipped with a large flat screen TV and sound system to accommodate the needs of streaming or to facilitate training with DVD’s.

 

Alta II is only 1 mile from downtown Vista shopping and bus routes.  It is only 2/3 mile from Brengle Terrace Park and Moonlight Amphitheater making it convenient for outdoor recreation and community integration.
